Qu'est-ce que cabu ?

Cabu, whose full name is Jean Cabut, was a French cartoonist and caricaturist. He was born on January 13, 1938, in Châlons-en-Champagne, France, and unfortunately, he lost his life on January 7, 2015, during the Charlie Hebdo terrorist attack in Paris.

Cabu started drawing at a young age and became interested in comics and cartoons. He joined the Hara-Kiri magazine, a predecessor to Charlie Hebdo, in 1960. Cabu's distinctive style, characterized by bold lines and exaggerated caricatures, quickly gained recognition. He contributed to the magazine's satirical content and became one of its most prominent and beloved cartoonists.

Throughout his career, Cabu’s cartoons covered a variety of topics, including politics, social issues, and everyday life.
